How do I hang my poster?
A few ideas to hang the standard or not-so standard sized Ork posters/prints:
- your local framing store (Chicago locations)
- DIY and build your own (framesbymail.com, craft stores)
- Ikea, Target, Dick Blick, Pearl Art stores or other similar stores carry standard sizes of frames like 18" x 24" (except Ikea carries European sizes) For non-standard size posters, have a custom matte cut with the outer dimensions of the frame and the inner dimensions .5"-1" less than the size of the poster).
- Poster 'rails': These are aluminum bars that snap on to the top and bottom of the poster and hang with 2 nails or hooks. They are often used for displays, but create a unique look in the home. See an example here.
- Ork's personal favorite: hang with binder clips and pushpins or small nails...put 2 clips on top and 2 clips on the bottom, near the corners, use nails or pushpins through the arms of the clips to hang. Target has some slick, small silver binder clips that work well (in the office supply section).
- Mount the poster on mattboard or foamcore and set it on an art shelf. This method is also handy if you like to cycle the art that you have on display. CB2

What is the difference between screen prints and posters?
A screen print is made using a stencil process in which the print's image is superimposed on a very fine mesh screen. Ink is then squeegeed through the screen onto the paper.
The result is a less exact print than the professionally printed posters, but the non-professional look of screen prints has become a significant cultural aesthetic. The ink on the prints is thick enough to see a slight bit of depth (and can be felt), whereas on the professionally printed posters, the ink soaks into the paper and is flat.

Will you offer the Chicago or Manhattan posters as screen prints?
We currently have no plans to offer the full-size Manhattan or Chicago designs as screen prints due to the size limitations of the screen printing method. This doesn't mean it couldn't happen in the future.
